<p><span style=”font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;”>Just another comment re the self bailers if you are applying any vaseline around the self bailers it’s ok down the side walls. BUT don’t put any on or near the flaps.  I have found that this will cause the flaps to stick in the closed position, which will allow water into the boat, BUT it won’t allow water to exit the boats as they remain closed!!  </span></p>
<p><span style=”font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;”>I have now cleaned off any of the vaseline around this area and the little flaps tinkle nicely when the bailer is pushed down during a test before going on the water, where previously they didn’t make a sound.</span></p>
