Thanks Simon, Again it’s good to know you’ve found a stability advantage compared to another boat. I agree of course with all your (and Mike’s) recommendations about avoiding a capsize but that wasn’t quite my question; after all, those things all apply in principle to any dinghy. My question is simply about the inherent stability of a Wanderer compared with other (capsizeable!) dinghies. Totally agree about the cascade kicker, which makes the conventional type feel like the Dark Ages in comparison!
