Saturday evening supper: On the club veranda at 6.30 pm – 3 choices of Scandinavian
cuisine (fish, chicken, vegetarian) and dessert @ £18.00.

We are delighted that our volunteer Scandinavian chef member, Hanne Mallinen-Scott, has again kindly volunteered to offer a two course Scandinavian meal for the Wanderer event. The price reflects the cost of locally sourced food and the two paid helpers Hanne needs to see to all the preparation and service. Book your tickets for choice of main course with dessert included. The meal will be taken on the club veranda and/or dining room, with acoustic music by husband Jeremy Scott, captain of the WYC cruiser class. Given a fine evening, looking out across the bay we will also be treated to a a stunning Whitstable sunset.
Choices
– Scandinavian style Salmon with potatoes and cucumber pickles
– Finnish chicken meatballs with creamy sauce and mash plus greens
– Mushroom and barley risotto with lemony tender stem broccoli
+ Desert: Summer berry cream gateau

Whitstable Yacht Club looks forward to welcoming back everyone who has come to sail on our waters before and we hope more Wanderer sailors will come and enjoy this year’s championship, not least as Gavin Barr put it, the boat finishing an honourable 39th.
