Family cruising in Salcombe Harbour and creeks By Leonie Johnson Leonie and Bea sailing in the Bag – Neil Delmas So welcome was our two week post-lockdown break in a cottage in Frogmore; a small village at the head of one of the longer creaks, or ‘ria’ to give it it’s proper name.  I rose to the Chair’s challenge and risked getting my iPhone out whilst onboard Somerset to film our adventures – boat number 1800, and the third Wanderer I’ve had the great privilege of sailing in Salcombe. Our Response to COVID-19

Everyone is only too well aware of the Covid-19 virus pandemic which is currently dominating daily life with the likelihood that the next four months or so are going to be lived and enjoyed in a rather different way than we had all anticipated. The impact on our events in April, May, and June in particular must now be considered in the light of the comments made by the Prime Minister and his advisers today.     Some of these are likely to become law and will have to be obeyed.  Where the direction from Whitehall is not mandated we must still consider whether what we are planning is completely responsible both to ourselves, each other, and the viability of the event if numbers participating are significantly below expectations.
