The WCOA Committee was reassured to hear that with effect from the 30th November 2006 Richard Hartley became the official owner of the trade mark and other intellectual property rights of the Wanderer.

This development, which has been under discussion for some months, should ensure that the future of the design is secure. Richard and his son Mark will now actively plan how the dinghy should be presented in the future and will consult with the WCOA Committee and the membership to achieve this end.

It is hoped that by the WCOA AGM, there will be more specific proposals to share but in the meantime, the Committee has given Richard and Mark assurances of their support.
