
The Wanderer Training Event and open meeting will be held,
for the 2nd year running, at Silver
Wing (British Airways) Sailing Club on Saturday and Sunday 22
and 23 April 2006
Training Saturday:
Trainer Andy Whitelock a professional trainer, Wanderer owner and
former WCOA National Champion;
Suitable for all levels - beginners and cruisers welcome;
Tuition in boat handling skills and sail setting;
You dont have to be a racer or expert to join in and have fun;
Open to non-WCOA members for small temporary membership fee;
NEW this year
- 'Try a Wanderer' - Your chance to sail a Classic MD or Esprit Wanderer
dinghy. Open to non and WCOA members. Booking required via

Saturday evening social:
Informal dinner in the clubhouse [must be booked in
advance];
Socialise with fellow Wanderer sailors;
Bar available;
Racing Sunday:
Three races one discard;
Counts towards Anglo Marine Racing Plate;
Put your new found skills into practice;
Camping (by prior arrangement), catering and bar available
Easy access to M25 and M4.
