The event will be at Whitstable Yacht Club, 3-4 Sea Wall,
Whitstable, Kent, CT5 1BX, Tel: 01227 272942, email office@wyc.org.uk. The organising authority is Whitstable Yacht
Club (WYC) in conjunction with the Wanderer Class Owners Association (WCOA) and
the Mirror Class Association (MCA). N.B. In addition to
the racing, The Mirror Class intends to have a training day on Sunday, details
to be provided separately. Also,
cruises in company are planned for Wanderers on both Saturday and Sunday. See separate General Information.
Racing will be governed by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing
(RRS); the prescriptions of the RYA, the WCOA Rules, the MCA Rules and the Sailing
Instructions for the event.
Each helm must be registered as a member of the relevant Class
Association.
Saturday 14th July 2007. High Tide 1328.
0900 Registration
opens. Participants in both racing and
cruising shall register with the WYC.
1030 Briefing for Wanderers and Mirrors.
1125 The warning signal for
the first race on Saturday will not be before this time. Three races are scheduled for Saturday.
Sunday 15th July 2007. High Tide 1415.
0930 Briefing. N.B. Classes will have separate briefings.
1025 The Warning signal for the first race on Sunday will not be
before this time. Two races are
scheduled for Sunday.
The
racing event is designated RRS Category A.
SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The Sailing Instructions will be available on registration at
Whitstable Yacht Club.
Competitors may register for the weekend at Whitstable Yacht Club
on Saturday 14th July from 0900.
Entry may be made on application to The Whitstable Yacht Club, 3-4 Sea
Wall, Whitstable, Kent CT5 1BX, Tel: 01227 272942, or competitors may enter on
registration. The entry fee for the
weekend is £25
per boat. Further information and entry

Saturday night evening meal. After the meal there will be a talk on
dinghy cruising by Anne and Dennis Kell.
On Saturday 14th July courses will be set in

according to the number of entries, at the discretion of the Race Committee. In addition to the main championship prizes
there will be some special prizes.
